The trustees’ current policy is to contribute towards the cost of fertility treatment if access to NHS funded IVF is not available.
This is on the following basis:
- a maximum of two courses of treatment per couple with each partner’s former applications (even if with another partner) counting towards the total.
- a grant is considered for the first child and not any subsequent children of that relationship.
- evidence of having accessed fertility treatment on the NHS and confirmation from a G.P./consultant that no further NHS funded treatment is available should be provided.
- if you are not eligible for NHS funded IVF treatment confirmation as to the reasons why you are not eligible is required.
- a maximum contribution of up to 80% of the cost of each treatment cycle may be awarded.
Please read the guidance notes for applications carefully
